Metallica, one of the most influential and iconic heavy metal bands in history, has win a place for themselves in the pantheon of rock music. The origins of Metallica can be traced back to Los Angeles in 1981 when drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield decided to form a band. Their vision was to create heavy and aggressive music that would stand out from the glam metal scene dominating the 1980s. Soon after, guitarist Dave Mustaine and bassist Ron McGovney joined the lineup, and Metallica was born. After hearing one of their demos, concert promoter Jon Zazula signed Metallica to his label Megaforce Records.
The group’s first album Kill ‘Em All was released in 1983. The thrash metal record was not initially a commercial success, but its supporting tour helped the band garner a following in the underground metal scene. Unfortunately, their tour was stopped by tragedy when Burton was killed in a bus accident. The remaining Metallica members ultimately decided to carry on with the band. They have navigated through triumphs and tragedies, evolving their sound while staying true to their heavy metal roots. Metallica’s enduring legacy and impact on multiple generations of fans and musicians are a testament to the enduring power of their music.

My favorite song of the group Metallica is call : Nothing else matters . Although I have never been interested in this type of music this song has open me this type of music (heavy metal). The reason I like it is because I think is one of the few heavy metal songs that doesn’t seem to be , I mean it isn’t an aggressive and energetic song as the other one’s I have listen to . One of the facts why don’t reminds me to a heavy metal song , I think is the melody of it , which brings me tranquility but at the same time ,a lot of energy and power . Also I choose this song because I listen to it in a famous Tv ad , so that’s why I find it familiarly rather than the other one’s.
KIRK HAMMETT
Kirk Hammett is one of the four members of the band Metallica; he is the guitarist. I decided to describe him since he is the perfect person to represent how a heavy metal fan dresses. The first item is that he always wears black or dark clothing (with leather or denim fabrics), and the identifier of a heavy metal fan is his long hair, always loose and messy. Heavy metal fans often wore sleeveless shirts or waistcoats to show off their tattoos, usually logos or bands. Finally, the complement they always wear is a metal necklace, which gives them a heavy metal style.
Another common outfit is that one, which we can see in the right photo. Kirk Hammett was wearing a fashionable, fairly fitted, black, plain, leather, V-necked jacket, with some buttons, metal buttons in the middle of the jacket but it closes with the zipper. Under his jacket he wears a nice, long, also black, cotton, round-neck, sleeveless t-shirt; a trendy, long, black, plain, denim jeans. Around his neck he is wearing an old-fashion, metal, necklace; and awesome, black sunglasses. On his left-hand Kirk is holding a coffee, which is his favorite drink for after eating, and the glass is made of cardboard since this contributes to the environment. And obviously he has long, curly, and free hair to be in the mood of heavy metal style.
